Guidelines For Reproduction Of Works Of Art

Photographs, slides, or transparencies, of works of art, provided by Miami Art Museum may be reproduced in newspapers, periodicals, magazines, or in television programs while reviewing or discussing Miami Art Museum, its collections or its exhibitions for press and publicity purposes only.

Full identification of the work of art as indicated on the photographs, slides or transparencies must be provided whenever an image of a work of art is reproduced. The information about the work of art must appear directly under the reproduction or on the page facing it. Miami Art Museum’s credit line must accompany any reproduction of a work of art, and the photographer must be credited for any reproduction of a work of art.

Reproduction of works of art for any purpose other than stipulated in these guidelines is strictly forbidden. For reproduction other than the editorial purposes discussed herein, Miami Art Museum will require a written request.

No work of art or image of a work of art may be reproduced on the worldwide web without the prior written permission of Miami Art Museum.
