Accessible Parking

Two parking facilities are available to Cultural Center/MAM visitors who use wheelchairs.

The Miami-Dade Cultural Center Garage - 50 NW 2nd Avenue (see directions and map above): Take the south elevator to the second floor exit. Exit this floor and follow the pathway across a covered, above street level footbridge that leads directly to the Cultural Plaza and MAM.

Street-Level Parking Lot - NW 1st Avenue (between NW 1st Street and Flagler Street): Accessible parking available for visitors with a state permit. Lot entrance is located on the East side of the Cultural Center off of NW 1st Avenue between NW 1st Street and Flagler Street.

Entrance to the Cultural Plaza and MAM: From the street parking lot, you will find a public elevator on the opposite side of NW 1st Street, located mid-block on the North side opposite the Cultural Center. This elevator leads to a footbridge to the Cultural Center Plaza.

Access to MAM's Upper Level Galleries: All visitors have access to the Upper Level Galleries via MAM's elevator located in the Plaza Level gallery. Visitor services staff or a gallery attendant will direct you to the entrance and operate the elevator for you at your request.

MAM has two wheelchairs available for use by all visitors upon request at the lobby desk. Please see Visitors Services or a gallery attendant.
